Postdoctoral Researcher

Oliver B. Wach is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Mannheim in the team of Prof. Philipp Ager. As an applied economist, he studies the long-term effects of institutions, historical development paths, and societal trans­formations at the intersection of economic history, political economy, and development economics. His work often centers on Poland, the United States, and Scandinavia. Oliver holds a PhD in economics from Freie Universität Berlin.
