Prof. Philipp Wangner, Ph.D.
Philipp Wangner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Economics Division at Columbia Business School. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics in 2023.
His research field is Macroeconomics with a particular focus on understanding the impact of household heterogeneity on aggregate outcomes and its implications for the design of fiscal and monetary policy, at both business cycle and growth horizons.
