The primary research and teaching interests of Professor Dr. Matthias Meier are Macroeconomics, Macroeconometrics and Computational Economics. Within Macroeconomics, he is interested in business cycles and macro development, in particular the role of heterogeneous companies in this context. Within Macroeconometrics, he analyses structural vector autoregressive models.
