Dr. Angélica Lucia Serrano Galvis
Angélica Serrano is a postdoctoral researcher in applied development economics at the Chair of Econometrics, Prof. Dr. Markus Frölich, specializing in the evaluation of education and social policy interventions.
Her work focuses on designing and implementing randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies, with particular emphasis on large-scale field projects in low- and middle-income countries. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Bremen in 2025 and was a visiting researcher at the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Her research combines rigorous causal inference methods with policy-oriented insights, aiming to inform evidence-based decision-making in education programs.
