Assistant Professor of Econometrics

Endong Wang joined the Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim as an Assistant Professor of Theoretical Econometrics and Statistics in August 2025. He completed his M.Sc. at Temple University (Philadelphia, USA) in 2019 and graduated his Ph.D. from McGill University (Montréal, Canada) in June 2025.

His research focuses on econometrics, applied macroeconomics, and high-dimensional time series analysis. In particular, he develops econometric models, propose estimation methods, and conduct statistical inference to address questions related to dynamic causality and co­unter­factual analysis in macroeconomics.
