Stephen Jarvis is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim. His research interests are centered on energy and environmental economics, public policy and data science. His job market paper examines the economic costs of NIMBYism in the context of renewable energy projects. He obtained his Ph.D. in Energy & Resources from the University of California Berkeley where he was also a researcher at the Energy Institute at Haas.
